A temperature-reactive oyster-eye artwork with shifting grey-lilac, pale lavender and blue-violet tones. Warm conditions reveal softer grey-lilac and pale lavender shading; cold conditions deepen the eye area into stronger blue-violet and violet-blue tones.

MADE TO ORDER

Each Methyst Haze piece is made to order and prepared individually after purchase. Production usually takes approximately 7–14 days before dispatch.

The photographs show the reference design. Your piece will follow the same design language, including the temperature-reactive purple-blue eye makeup, long black lashes, faux pearl accents and cascading silver-toned decorative details.

As each piece is handmade using a natural oyster shell, the shell shape, surface texture, pearl placement and small finishing details may vary slightly from the photographs.

- Ivory Ribbon Choker: A pale ribbon choker with a soft, light frame.
- Black Velvet Choker: A dark velvet choker that brings out the changing purple-blue eye makeup.

Your selected attachment will be fitted as part of the making process. This listing includes one oyster-eye artwork with one selected wear style; the other attachment styles are not included.

SIZE — LARGE

This design is offered in the Large size category, approximately 2.7–3.4 in (6.9–8.6 cm) across the shell.

Natural oyster shells vary in outline, so exact dimensions differ from piece to piece. Please refer to the handheld photograph for scale.

THERMOCHROMIC COLOR EFFECT

The eye makeup uses temperature-responsive pigment, allowing its color to shift with changes in surrounding temperature or body warmth.

- Warm: Lighter, softer grey-lilac and pale lavender around the eye.
- Cold: Deeper, more pronounced blue-violet and violet-blue shading.

The exact intensity and transition depend on temperature and viewing conditions. No batteries or electronics are involved.

DESIGN

A realistic grey-toned eye sits within a white, pearly natural oyster shell, framed by long black lashes and temperature-reactive purple-blue makeup.

Faux pearl accents, silver-toned rhinestone chains and hanging drops form an asymmetrical drape beneath the gaze. The natural shell and hand-finished surface give this wearable art object its individual shape and character.

CARE

Keep dry and avoid harsh chemicals, open flame and extreme heat. The thermochromic effect is designed to respond to ordinary temperature changes; extreme heating should not be used to force a stronger color change.

Handle the shell, lashes and hanging details gently.

PACKAGING

Each Shell Oracle artist piece includes gift-ready packaging, a product certificate and an artist signature / signed card. The inner presentation is selected according to the finished size and shape of the piece.
